Hill Makes 46 Saves In Loss

James Hill made 46 saves between the pipes for the Kenora Thistles Sunday afternoon as they fell 7-1 to the Winnipeg Wild.

Hill, playing in his 12th game of the season, faced 40+ shots for the sixth time this season.

Callum McCormick had the lone goal for Kenora, which came on the powerplay in the second period. Assists on the goal were to Cayson Lambert and Reidar Paquette. The goal, McCormick’s second of the season, extends his point streak to six games.

Next up for the Thistles is a pair of home games against the Parkland Rangers. The two teams will meet at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre November 18th and 19th.
