McCormick Scores In Thistles Loss

Callum McCormick had the lone goal for Kenora as the Bruins toppled the Thistles 8-1 Wednesday night.

The goal, his first as a member of the Kenora Thistles, came in the third period and was assisted by Jeremy Hutchison and Jack Noel.

The damage for the Bruins came in the first period as they beat Morgan Blackwood five times, though it should be noted that not all of the goals were his fault. Following the fifth goal, James Hill was sent in to replace him between the pipes.

In his 43:30 in net Hill made as many saves (22) as Justin Perreault, who picked up the win for the Bruins.

Next up for Kenora is another trip into Winnipeg Sunday afternoon to take on the Wild.
